Benedictus "Benny Boy" Arthur Weah, 33, passed away on September 21, 2021. He is survived by: his mother Venise Weah Smith and father Arthur Weah; Brothers: Eugene Smith and Hippo Goldsberg; and Brother Wady Weah (Liberia); His stepmother: Chantee Watts-Weah and stepbrother Brentton Watts (Phoenix, Arizona); Nephews: Dasjshon Goldsberg, Jaden DeLomba; Nieces Nyjia Hunter and Ella DeLomba; Sister-in-law: Tracey DeLomba; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
Ben graduated from Dracut High School, Dracut, Massachusetts in 2008. He was a member of the football, basketball, and track teams. He attended Middlesex Community College. Ben was employed by the YMCA of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Lynn Union Hospital.
Benny enjoyed life. He loved being surrounded by people. His smile would light up the room. His laugh was infectious. He traveled to Florida, Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York and Canada. He was never afraid to go anywhere on God’s green earth. Benny Boy will be truly missed but never forgotten. His struggle here on earth is over.
Ben will be joining his Grandparents, Mary and Gabriel Weah, Eloise and Clifton Smith and other family members. He is now our angel, his soul at rest. We love you Ben. Fly high with the Angels.
Relatives and friends se invited to attend visitation on Saturday, October 16th at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln from 9:00am – 11:00am, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00am. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
